Michael came to me fresh out of cooking school with little experience. He quickly established himself as a very diligent and hard working individual who could take direction and as my Sous Chef, direct others. He had the ability then and still does, to bring a warmth and lively sense of humor to all that he endeavors in. Michael has a remarkable talent and artistic bent, he doesn't suffer fools lightly, but in the higher reaches of the Chef game no one does, it is a serious business not to be taken lightly. Michael does know when to lighten things up and when it's time to get serious, but never too serious. As a colleague, Michael has achieved much in the Chicago restaurant sphere and has moved on to become a personality of sorts, a teacher and always a friend. It was VERY good. Informative, funny, and the right amount of time. I will tell others about this fun library program & hope to see others like it at the library. Good, easy ideas. Very inspiring, speaker was motivated; overall well done, can't wait to start. Included the children. The presenter was informative and fun, included the kids in the group.
